Foshan Nanhai Beautiful Nonwoven Co., Ltd. (Beautiful) is a professional enterprise dedicated to the production, R&D and sale of spunbond and meltblown nonwoven materials and nonwoven finished products with six factories and two trade companies, including Foshan Nanhai Wonderful Nonwoven Co., Ltd., Foshan Nanhai Beautiful Nonwoven Co., Ltd., Foshan Nanhai Plus Medical Co., Ltd., Foshan Nanhai Titlis Technology Co., Ltd., Wonderful Japan Co., Ltd., Hostar International Ltd. Beautiful serves many markets including automotive, apparel, filtration, geotextiles, medical and personal care products, aviation products, household products, home and industrial products.

In 2012 sales for nonwoven fabrics amounted $82.27 million while sales for nonwoven converted products were $38.13 million for a total sales turnover of $120.40 million.

Founded in 1998, with 15 years experience in nonwoven production and further processing, Beautiful has developed a number of innovative technologies and competitive products.

Beautiful currently produces more than 40,000 metric tons of nonwoven fabrics annually, which are widely applied in hygiene, medical, protective and industrial markets. Beautiful is equipped with clean rooms with an area of 13,000 square meters for production of surgical gowns, surgical drapes, sterilization wraps, protective apparel and face masks. Moreover, Beautiful has a skillful workforce of 1,500 employees, specializing in production of the best quality shopping bags and gift bags worldwide.

Beautiful, located in Shatou Jiujiang Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City of Guangdong Province and covering an area of 160,000 square meters, has established an excellent production area and facilities as well as mature production and quality control system. The company has achieved ISO 9001:2008 and EN ISO 13485:2003+AC: 2007 Quality Management System Certification, TUV (CEO197) Medical Product Manufacturing Certification, Disney Production Admission and Chinese Medical Devices Production License and is also registered in by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Beautiful has been steadily expanding its production capability and innovation since 2000. Compared with total sales of $83 million in 2011, sales turnover increased 45% to reach $120.4 million in 2012.

As a leading producer and processor of nonwoven fabrics with a hand in many markets in China, Beautiful continues with strategic investment to expand its global influence and strengthen its own capabilities in four areas: nonwoven fabric roll stocks, disposable medical products, nonwoven products for industrial and household applications  and further processing of nonwoven fabrics.

“Although the depression of global economy in 2012 brought adverse affects on many markets such as aviation products, automotive products and geotextiles, the demand for medical and hygiene materials and its products were still strong,” says Deng. “Beautiful successfully resisted various unfavorable factors and achieved good results in 2012 due to the company’s complete production and supply chain and good long-term relationships with our customers and suppliers.”

The company possesses advanced SMMMS, SMS, SSS nonwoven production lines and has a closed workshop environment. As for medical nonwoven material, Beautiful’s SMMMS nonwoven fabric has a unique structure with layers of spunbond and meltblown fiber and has its own characteristics of light weight, high barrier performance, good air permeability as well as soft and comfort hand feeling. These features make it an appropriate raw material for medical and protective products, which is good news for healthcare personnel and patients. Beautiful’s SMMMS material is widely used in medical products and Beautiful is one of the few suppliers in China, whose material can meet international standards on medical nonwovens.

With the development of disposable medical products in the global and domestic medical market, disposable nonwoven medical products will be the focus of Beautiful strategic development moving forward.

“Hydrostatic head of spunmelt nonwovens must be improved to provide better barrier protection for surgical gowns/drapes and the comfort of wearing must be considered in the meantime,” says Deng. “These two properties are effectively balanced to optimize the medical nonwoven through plenty of innovative improvements and it has gained acceptance and compliments from customers. Now Beautiful will start to develop surgical gowns, surgical drapes, sterilization wrapping material with high barrier performance and multi-functions.”
